Think it is easier to get to the new place from Bootle and surrounding areas by public transport than it is to Goodison. I don't get it, to be honest. That said, it did mention carpark facilities at the Strand and a shuttle bus for people who park up there. That might be a good idea, to be fair.

Doesn't make much sense to me. The new stadium is far easier to get to from most areas in that neck of the woods than Goodison. Virtually every bus that goes through Bootle drops you off at the top of Boundary St at the start of Scotland Road. Crosby to Sandhills is 14 minutes by train. Seems...

They were from "over the bridge". It might have even been specific to the hinterland right next to the docks. All I do know is that they all used it, as did friends of the family of the same vintage who grew up in the same area but were eventually blown to the 4 winds in the 60's and 70's.
