2023/24 Seamus Coleman

He lives by us and is exactly the same when he`s out and about with his family.

A totally normal fella and always happy to chat and pose for photos.

It`s got to the point now, that it`s so normal to see him, that the kids don`t even bother him !
He's regularly in a child soft play in the Hunts Cross area with his youngest. He's always pleasant and isn't a person who seeks the limelight.

I strongly believe the club want him around in some capacity, but what that maybe isn't purely down to him.

I don't really see him in the same canonised light as others seem to, but he was excellent from Moyes's final season until whenever he broke his leg.

Unfortunately, no club has ever made harder work of replacing a right-back.

Surprised!

Sounds like he's staying on according to Dyche:

"He's been great and I think it's ongoing [talk on a new deal]. I've already spoken to him about his view and at this stage there's still another couple of weeks left so he should reflect on where he's at but I think his thirst is to keep playing.

"We'll be looking into that so I don't think there's any reason to wonder about his last game at this stage. That's his words and not mine."
