    John Textor

Why would Moshiri do that? That sounds like a bad deal for him, trying to sell a minority ownership share. More likely what Textor could be offering is to put this CP shares in a blind trust while they are sold. No idea if that would work but I guess it’s possible.

We owe them 200 million. Of course they will keep in touch

The debt is held by the club.

Correct (as you know). The stadium’s worth is tied to the cash it generates. Its value is not analogous to the market value of a house.

They paid May's bills, they get the extension. Bought other parties one more month to get the money together. That's all the extension was. They've been dead in the water for a while.

Yeah, as much as people say they want information...they really want resolution. Resolution is not coming for a few months.

    2023/24 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I liked Iwobi, but his importance to the team pales in comparison to a healthy DCL. Again, trading a few dollars for our PL status makes zero financial sense.

Depends on the money. For the 20 million mentioned above, I agree. Gaining 20 million and losing PL revenue would be one of the dumber decisions we've ever made, and that is saying something.

That's the going rate for good players. If you want good players, that's what you pay. Paying Pickford that wage has helped keep us in the Premier League, the value far exceeds the cost. Again, the issue is giving that to bad players. Which is mostly what we've done (and continue to do with...

That's fine in a vacuum, but that's not realistic. Certainly Pickford should be or he wouldn't be here. The average salary for a first team PL player is 60-70k per week depending on the source. It's higher for a starter, it's higher for a good starter... The issue isn't giving good players...

He’s screwed the pooch so badly, I don’t know that he’s the best option, understanding we don’t know all of the options

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Has nothing to do with Dyche. I give Kompany credit for going to the Championship and accomplishing what he did there, but I'm not sure the minimum qualifications for taking the biggest jobs in the world has ever been lower.

And it all fell apart from there, frankly. That window was the first inkling of our financial woes, something Carlo wasn't going to stick around for (and why it was a poor appointment in the first place, he and the club were not on the same page).

Well, Gbamin off the top of my head. Probably cost as much as all the seating in BMD.
