I think there’s so much trash about that anything ok in this genre gets better ratings. I liked the bits with Edinburgh bars and streets. Dunno why Kelly McDonald was shoehorned in there and the bits with her and the lead were horrific. Would have preferred it if it was 3 or 4 episodes.

The best bits are often the alternative timeline stuff. Has some standout bits but is inconsistent if you ask me.
