After a number of heated exchanges with some members of the forum and another thread locked I feel I need to ask the question as things have come to a head

I have had 5 good years on here

If the general consensus is that I have outstayed my welcome that's fine I will make this my last post

I like to think that I have generally conducted myself with dignity on here over the years. However as you know I will always stand my corner if I need to

Anyway if the general feeling is goodbye I can live with that as it is democracy

Whatever happens all the best its a great forum

I haven't been here for long and am more of a reader anyway, but from what I've seen you are respectful of Everton and it's interesting to hear from other clubs' fans, especially articulate ones (which obviouly excludes kopites), so that's enough for me. Although the mindset on a club forum will always be different to that of a general football forum so it's up to you to decide whether you can deal with the banter and even the few hostile posts that will be going your way. By starting this thread you're probably only inviting more of it I think. No need to create it, no need to leave either.
 

Honestly, you're not really official until you get into it with someone on here. I had an episode where I took some things said too personally and stayed away for a while.

It is just the internet. People can say things they would never say face to face to someone, but they can here. Joining any forum is caveat emptor.

The Moyes/United stuff is a bit close to the bone for everyone right now, but that will fade with time. Talk footie, talk music (post in the Ale House - it's not as confrontational in there). Footie aside, there are a great bunch of lads on here, and a fewer number of knobs. Swerve the knobs, engage the good ones and it's sorted.
