BUT just so I'm clear... even if 4th is mathematically possible, that's good enough for you all, correct? Even if Arsenal win tonight, they could lose and draw to west brom (fighting for safety) and norwich (fighting for safety and at home), which would mean 2 wins would see us finish 4th.

So assuming Arsenal win tonight, those of you who will be hoping for City to win on Saturday will do so knowing that 4th is still a possibility, because your hatred for Liverpool is that strong. How will you feel if we lose to City, Arsenal drop the right amount of points, and Liverpool bottle it against Palace making City's win over us irrelevant?

Many of those 18.4% of Evertonians would rather we finish 17th and Liverpool 2nd than them win the league and we finish 2nd.

I know it's crazy, but there you have it.
 
Right. Some of you will have noticed a post deleted, and where quoted, they have gone as well.

There is debate, hot debate, and passionate debate. We have them all.

But there is no way we will tolerate the type of personal abuse that has just occurred. WHATEVER THE SUBJECT MATTER.

I was more addressing the group that say that they will hope for a City win only if Arsenal win tonight. My only point is that an Arsenal win tonight doesn't make 4th impossible.

Why does 'new' have anything to do with it?

They spend almost as much as Chelsea and City. Why begrudge Chelsea and City fans in particular because their luck came in?

It would make sense if you're against money ruining the game, but Liverpool are as much to blame for that as City and Chelsea. So I don't understand.

Still want Everton to win out. And Liverpool to lose their next two and finish third.

why do you say that?

Read the sentence again, and replace "we" with "Everton"

Think we need to put the academy lads in for this game if Arsenal go four points ahead tonight. We need to blood these and prepare for next season against City and Hull.
