Striker James Vaughan will be unable to complete his loan move to Celtic due to appearing for two clubs already this season.
Vaughan was previously on loan at Crystal Palace before making a substitute appearance in Everton´s 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
As such, Everton will keep the forward at Goodison Park for the time being.
It is not known whether a mistake has been made or whether Everton wished to keep the striker regardless.
