The Everton FA Cup bandwagon rolls on as the Blues host Championship outfit Reading in the Fifth Round tonight.
Everton upset the odds in the Fourth Round with a replay win on penalties away to current English Premier League champions Chelsea, and followed that up with a comfortable 2-0 win over Sunderland at Goodison Park.
David Moyes will be hoping the current upsurge in form continues tonight as Everton look to avoid the potential banana peel that Reading, recently a Premier League side, definitely possess the potential to be.
Complacency may be an issue, with fans already looking ahead to Manchester City or Aston Villa in the next round, but it´s a definite case of "one game at a time".
Louis Saha was involved in a bad car smash in Cheshire recently, but walked away unharmed. As such, he is in contention for a starting position tonight, likely as a partner to two goal hero at Sunderland Jermain Beckford – however, the ex-Leeds man is a doubt himself due to a minor groin issue.
Influential midfielder Marouane Fellaini is a major doubt due to a knock to his ankle he attained during the clash with the Black Cats, whilst Tim Cahill is also nursing a foot injury. Victor Anichebe is also a doubt for tonights fixture.
Reading have injury probles of their own. Club captain Ivar Ingimarsson will almost certainly miss out with a groin problem, whilst first choice ´keeper Adam Federici is also sidelined.
Mathieu Monset is also a big doubt thanks to a calf injury.
