An impressive performance from a depleted Everton side over relegation-fighting-for-their-lives Wolves at Molineux, with goals from Beckford, NEVILLE and Bilyaletdinov.
Wolves, eager to put things right in front of their fans on the back of a 4-1 trouncing at Newcastle, came storming out of the blocks at Molineux to cause some sterling backs-to-the-wall defending from the Blues for the opening twenty minutes.
But the hosts bright start came to a shuddering halt when Jermaine Beckford got on the end of a sublime Leon Osman cross to head past Wayne Henessey to give Everton a 21st-minute lead.
A depleted Everton side with notable absentees including Arteta, Cahill, Fellaini, Rodwell and Saha, upped the ante after taking the lead and capitalised on the confidence which was knocked out of Wolves by doubling the lead on 39 minutes when Beckford found Neville who almost inexplicably lashed home from the right-hand corner of the penalty area. 2-0.
With the half time whistle approaching, Bilyaletdinov ended the contest with a spectacular 30-yard-long-range effort which will no doubt nestle nicely into a video compilation of stunning goals from the Russian.
Next up is Blackburn at home as the Blues look to maintain a respectable league position.
