Royston Drenthe harbours ambitions of propelling Everton into Europe this season.
Despite languishing in 14th place, the 24-year-old reckons we can bridge the existing ten point gap from an potential European qualification placing.
Drenthe: “I want to be an important player, and I want to achieve a high rank with Everton. To get into the top eight, or top seven, that would be great.
“But if we start winning more games, then maybe we can get European football. That would be great for the club.
“Everyone knows that (European football) will be really difficult for us to achieve, but if we can concentrate and win more games, then it will be possible. We will see.â€
