Everton officials are urging its supporters to be vigilant after learning that an unscrupulous organisation has been claiming to offer trials at the Everton Academy in return for payment.
The organisation in question has been using the names of Everton´s Academy coaches without permission and contacting people using the email address dannyphilpott.evertonfootball@clubmember.org
Everton Football Club would like to make it clear that this is a complete misrepresentation of the Everton Academy and its coaches. Furthermore, the Everton Academy only offers trials at the Club based purely on merit and under the rules as set out by the football authorities.
If anyone does receive an email making the offer of a trial in exchange for money or personal information then we ask you to contact the club immediately at everton@evertonfc.com
The Club has been taking legal advice on this matter and will be taking appropriate action against those involved.
