Everton are looking to reinvest a portion of the Jack Rodwell transfer fee to bolster the wide midfield and attacking options – by usurping Arsenal to the signature of highly-rated attacker Kevin Mirallas from Olympiakos.
After the story was initially revealed on the GrandOldTeam forums this afternoon, various media outlets have picked up on the story and it appears the 24 year old Belgian may wrap up the deal as early as this Thursday, after he completes international duties with Belgium on Wednesday.
Mirallas, international team mate of Toffees star Marouane Fellaini, had earlier courted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. It is believed he would cost in the region of £6m.
