Paddy’s Preview: West Brom vs Everton

It’s not often David Moyes has to dampen expectation after just two games of the season but the Toffees are flying high ahead of the visit to West Brom on Saturday.

Everton shade favouritism in Paddy Power’s online betting at 6/4 with the home side trading at 9/5. The draw is priced up at 23/10 at the Hawthorns.

Three goals by the break last week at Villa Park and three points in the bag by the time David Moyes passed around the oranges for his half-time team talk will leave the visitors confident that they can convert any chances that come their way.

Everton did the double over West Brom last season with Nigerian international Victor Anichebe 87th minute strike the only goal of the game and its 7/1 with Paddy Power’s online betting that the same score line is repeated on Saturday.

With Stephen Pienaar, Marouane Fellaini (twice) and Nikica Jelavic have had their shooting boots on recently and you can get 9/2, 11/4 and 7/4 respectively that they can get their side’s first goal on Saturday.

Two wins and four goals already has the Toffees talking about Europe as an achievable end-of-season target rather a big land mass off the Kent coast.

Everton are 13/8 in Paddy Power’s online betting to finish in the top six in the Barclays Premier League and have been cut to 7/1 with the same firm to hit the dizzying heights of the top four by season’s end.

The Villa Park win was Everton’s 11th game unbeaten in the Premier League and having reached the landmark of 100 away wins in the Premier League. The Toffees will be quietly confident they can reach away win 101 against the Baggies.

But there’s no truth in the rumour that the stewards will be handing out tissues to fans suffering from nosebleeds as the Toffees find themselves third in the table on six points – one place and two points above Saturday’s opponents.

Everton are URL” target=”_blank”>4/6 in the Draw-No bet market and 4/11 in the Double Chance over the 90 minutes with Paddy Power.

If you fancy Everton to maintain their good scoring run then Paddy Power will give you 16/5 that the Toffees will win to nil.
