Fulham 2-2 Everton

Steve Sidwell salvages a point for Fulham with an cruel, last-minute equaliser in a game Everton should have put beyond any doubt and won comfortably.

Everton fell behind inside ten minutes for the fifth game in the last six. Phil Neville hacked down Berbatov in the 7th minute and from the resulting free-kick, Tim Howard pushed Bryan Ruiz´s effort on to a post before the ball crossed the line. A fortuitous lead.

Marouane Fellaini deservedly levelled for Everton on 55 minutes after some good work from Kevin Mirallas to beat a couple of defenders before delivering a perfect cross to allow Fellaini to smash the ball in from close range.

Everton were dominant and took the lead on 72 minutes, Fellaini with his second of the game.

Leading 2-1 and creating chance after chance, Everton failed to produce the third goal they needed to kill the game off and paid a high price in the dying moments when Berbatov missed Riether´s cross, but Sidwell was there to fire the equaliser. Sickener.

FT Fulham 2-2 Everton.
