Tim Cahill has reiterated his desire to return to Everton on loan in the January transfer window.
“I´ve been watching a lot of the games in the Premier League and I know I´ve got a lot more to offer, and the best thing is I get to enjoy the MLS but also the chance of joining back up in the best league in the world,†Cahill said in a Sky Sports News interview.
“There´s no shadow of a doubt that I´m definitely eager to come back on loan.
“One of the biggest thing I miss is the derby, two great teams in one city and I feel that when I watch it it gives me goosebumps.
“If Everton´s an option, the hopefully something can be done and if not then I´m definitely eager to play football anywhere.
“I don´t think you´d find as many loyal people as myself in football in what I´ve done in my career. It´s always simple that it would be nice, but it´s not down to me.
“I´m so happy for Everton, and no more for the chairman for what he´s done and they´re getting the rewards now but it´s going to be a difficult Christmas period now, which is always hard for any club and obviously [an Everton loan] is something that would be great and if it isn´t I just want to play football.â€
