Paddy’s Preview: Norwich City vs Everton

Everton are unbeaten against Norwich in their last seven Barclays Premier League games and are 11/10 with Paddy Power to take all three points on Saturday.

Nikica Jelavic gave the Toffees the lead twice last season in this tie before the Canaries equalised and the striker is 6/1 to be the game’s first goalscorer or 12/1 to score two or more goals for the visitors.

The Croatian international is also 15/8 to score at anytime over the 90 minutes in Paddy Power’s online betting.

David Moyes’ side are unbeaten in six of their last seven away games in all competitions – winning four of them – and have lost only three of their 13 matches on the road this season in the Premier League.

The last three fixtures between theses two sides have ended in score draws and Paddy Power bet 4/6 that both sides will score over the 90 minutes.

Victor Anichebe’s goals and assists have been troubling defences since his return from injury in December and he has scored two goals in his last three appearances.

The Nigerian international is 13/2 to be the game’s first goalscorer and 21/10 to score at anytime.

England international and club mate Leighton Baines believes Everton are now seeing the best of the 24-year-old’s power and technical ability.

“We have known it for a while but now he is starting to believe it himself and we are reaping the rewards of his self-belief,” Baines said.

“Defenders are starting to fear him as well so he is a big asset to us.”

Anichebe is 4/1 with Paddy Power to score first for his team on Saturday.

Everton have scored an average of 1.38 goals on their travels this season netting 18 goals in 13 away games and the Toffees to win and one or two goals in the match is 7/2 with Paddy Power.

A quarter (10) of Everton’s 40 goals this season have come between the 30th and 45th minute and Everton to score their opening goal in the first half is 5/6 while the first goal of the game coming after the 28th minute is trading at 10/11.

Punters willing to squeeze that window a little can get 13/2 with Paddy Power that the time of the first goal is between the 31st and 40th minute.

Two goals in this fixture would bring up Everton’s 300th away from home in all games under David Moyes’ reign and Paddy Power will give you 2/5 that the visitors score exactly two goals against a Norwich side that have drawn their last three games.
