Lukaku & Jagielka Post Match Comments

Romelu Lukaku spoke of a determination to record Everton’s first victory of the season and praised his teammates defending following Everton’s 2-0 victory over West Brom.

Lukaku: “It was a nice goal but the win in the most important thing, we wanted to win so bad.

“The defence did some great work today and we upfront made the difference so it was some great teamwork today”

Jagielka: “We’re delighted we got him [Lukaku] back here and we’re delighted he’s got off the mark. I said to him before the game ‘lets get going’ and thankfully, it didn’t take him long today. A fantastic finish, I would like to say he does it all the time with his right foot but I’d be lying if I said that but we’re delighted he saved it for today and we hope it will kick-start our season. We’ve not played too badly at the moment but we’ve not got the points we would have hoped for
