Martinez: Stones a future captain

Roberto Martinez has praised the form of John Stones and indicated that he see’s John Stones as a future captain.

Martinez: “I think John Stones has been in terrific form and he has a unique talent as a modern-day centre-half.

“John has got the perfect core of players to learn from at the club with Jagielka, Distin, Alcaraz and Tim Howard behind him

“I see John Stones as a future captain and he is taking in the leadership of others around him at the moment”.
