Kone: “Like a debut”

Arouna Kone has likened his start vs Krasnodar on Thursday to making his debut.

Roberto Martinez named Kone as 1 of 9 confirmed starters vs Krasnodar and the striker feels it’ll be like making his debut again.

Kone: “It’s going to be fantastic [to start]. It’ll be like making my debut again. It has been a long time coming.

“I’ve never been out as long as I have with this injury. I have had to be patient. In training I feel great.”
