Roberto Martinez thinks Everton “defended with fear” in the disappointing 2-2 draw with Leicester City.
Martinez: “We were really pedestrian in the first half. We allowed Leicester to relax. Darren Gibson did very well when he came on.
“Once we scored the first goal, I expected us to go on and control the game, but we defended with fear at times and conceded.
“We had to open Leicester up as they were going to try to slow us down and keep us out. We had good opportunities
“We should have been able to be more composed and more ruthless, but we were too pedestrian at times”
