Darron Gibson is delighted to have completed 120 minutes to help Everton into the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.
Gibson: “I wasn’t sure I’d get through 90 [minutes] but I got through 120 and I’m delighted with that. It shows how hard I have been working in training to be ready.
“I’ll be a bit tired for the next few days, but hopefully I can be involved at the weekend as well.
“It’s a great result tonight and I think it is big for us to get through. Obviously, the past few results haven’t been great, so it was a big night for us.
