Roberto Martinez has responded to media reports insisting Kevin Mirallas is disillusioned with his game time at Everton.
Martinez: “Kevin has been a very important player while I’ve been at the club.
“This season has been challenging for him individually because he had a couple of niggles then he had a sending-off.
“The way he’s been working has been very impressive. Kevin is fresher going into the second part of the season, and we’ll get the benefit of that.
“He’s improved as a footballer. He is a very, very important player for Everton — and he knows that.
“What he needs now is to get playing time because the start of the season has been frustrating for him.”
