“Dear Everton Fans”

Blues,

You might remember this.

Lucas’ mum, has sent us the below letter.

They’re at £885 of a target of £1,000 with just today remaining, between us all, can we help them get close/hit it? They’re working with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, coincidentally our nominated 2016 charity

Dear Everton Fans,

Our ‘Little Stokie’ Just Giving Page has just 1 day left to run and we have raised £885 against a target of £1,000, with a significant amount already donated by generous Everton fans along with heart felt messages of support https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/Lucas-Williams6-LittleStokie

Lucas had never been ill or had a day off school until 21st May 2015, when he was suddenly taken poorly. Lucas was diagnosed with a brain tumour and was transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital where he was treated. Tragically Lucas died just 11 weeks and one day later age 6 years and 11 months, he was a keen footballer and a massive Stoke City and football fan.

We are now working with Alder Hey and The Institiute for Cancer Research to fund desperately needed research into Childhood Brain Tumours to help find new and more effective treatments for this devastating illness.

We organised a bucket collection before the Stoke City v Everton match on 6th February and £10,956 was donated in just over 2 hours by the amazing Stoke and Everton fans.

We are extremely grateful for your support.
