He told the Echo: “His job as manager is not easy but, for me, yes, Roberto Martinez is important”
“He’s intelligent and, for this club, he is perfect. He is a top manager.
“It’s normal that when you lose (people say) that the manager and players are bad, but I don’t think so. We are a young team and we can be a top team. The staff are top and the most important thing now is to focus on the next game and take it step by step.”
