The Liverpool Echo are reporting that David Moyes is one of several high profile managers who have been contacted and spoken to by chairman Bill Kenwright about the vacant managerial position at Everton.
Moyes was widely expected to take the vacant position at relegated Aston Villa this week after it was announced that ex-Blues CEO Keith Wyness had been appointed as the chief executive of the Midlands club but Moyes, 53, pulled out of the running.
Now the Liverpool Echo report that Moyes has been contacted by Everton as the club do their best to ensure all bases are covered.
