Darron Gibson has extended his contract with Everton by 2 years to 2018.
Gibson has been plagued by injuries since signing for Everton in 2012 and has featured in just 51 league games, managing only 17 in the past three seasons.
Gibson: “Obviously, I have had a tough few years but thankfully the Club have stuck by me and I have signed for another two years, so hopefully the next two years go a lot better”.
In September 2015, Darron Gibson was banned from driving for 20 months and sentenced to a 12-month community order after pleading guilty to drink-driving charges in court.
Gibson was accused of crashing his £125,000 black Nissan Skyline GT-R Nismo into three cyclists who had stopped at the side of the road to fix a broken chain – before fleeing the scene.
