Everton 2016/17 Squad Numbers

The first-team squad numbers for the 2016/17 season have been confirmed by the Club today, coinciding with the signing of Idrissa Gueye from Aston Villa.

Idrissa Gueye will wear the number 17 shirt for Everton.

Notable changes see Gerard Deulofeu become the Blues’ new number 7, while Ross Barkley takes the number 8 shirt.

Gueye, who has signed a deal until 2020, takes the number most recently worn by Mo Besic, who has moved to number 21.

Bryan Oviedo moves to 20 while Maarten Stekelenburg, who arrived earlier this summer from Fulham, will wear 22. Shani Tarashaj takes the 24 jersey.

Young Blues Tom Davies and Kieran Dowell move to 26 and 28 respectively.
