Dependent on which report you believe, Everton have either agreed, or close to agreeing a deal worth £30 million for Sunderland’s England under-21 international Jordan Pickford.
The Liverpool Echo claim a fee has been agreed with Everton hoping to complete the move when he returns from the European under-21 Championships.
The Telegraph report a deal is close, claiming negotiations have progressed between the two clubs over the past 24 hours and Everton are growing increasingly confident of signing the highly-regarded goalkeeper this month with a deal that could eventually reach £30 million after various add-ons and clauses.
