Everton are prepared to offer Jack Wilshere a mouthwatering £8 million signing on fee to sign for the club following the expiry of his Arsenal contract, according to the Times.
The England midfielder will be available on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign if he can not agree terms with his current club.
The Times also report that Wilshere is keen on an Emirates stay but the two parties are not close to an agreement as of yet.
If rumours are to be believed, Arsenal want to drop the injury-prone 26-year-old’s wages, whereas Everton are willing to give him a pay rise.
Wilshere has made 31 appearances in all competitions this term, his best return since the 2013/14 campaign.
