Wayne Rooney could leave the club after just one season after opening ‘serious’ talks with MLS side DC United.
Reports claim Rooney’s representative Paul Stretford has been in the USA in recent weeks to discuss a potential move to MLS side DC United, with terms and talks have been described as positive.
Everton manager Sam Allardyce recently commented on speculation to talkSPORT: “Yes. There are rumours about Wayne going elsewhere abroad – in China and America – but at the moment he is an Everton player and an Everton fan.
“So I wouldn’t consider anything on the cards at the moment. It would have to be massive for him to want to leave Everton.”
