Phil Jagielka reckons Jordan Pickford has the character required to “take the World Cup in his stride”
Jagielka: “He’ll handle the World Cup like he does everything else, take it in his stride and with the belief he can produce the goods.
“I’ve been lucky enough to play for England at a World Cup and it’s something to be proud of. Now we hope he gets the chance to do it this summer in Russia.
“We all know Jordan’s ability and if he gets the nod to start, I’m sure he’ll show everyone what he can do – like he has been doing at Everton all season.”
