Everton have rejected an audacious bid of just £12m from RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman, issuing a hands off warning in the process.
Lookman spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at RB Leipzig after he became a bit-part cog in then Sam Allardyce’s squad and the German club.
Director of football Marcel Brands and new manager Marco Silva see the young winger as an important part of the Everton squad this season and will not entertain bids.
Brands has already spoken publicly of his admiration for Lookman and said he attempted to sign him while sporting director of PSV Eindhoven.
