Leighton Baines Offered 1 More Year

Leighton Baines has been offered a one-year contract extension with the club keen to extend his stay at Goodison Park into a 14th season.

Baines, who turns 36 in December, signed a 12-month deal last summer that runs until the end of the current season.

The left-back has made 417 appearances for Everton since his £6m transfer from Wigan in 2007 – making him 13th on the list of Everton’s all-time appearance makers.
