Marcel Brands has left Everton with immediate effect, according to reports.
The Mirror claim Marcel Brands has agreed a severance package and will step down from the club with immediate effect.
Brands, who was appointed as Everton’s Director of Football in June 2018, only agreed a new three-year contract in April.
Anger and disappointment has been building steadily among Evertonians with fans planning a mass walkout in their Premier League fixture with Arsenal on Monday night to protest against the club’s board and it looks as though Marcel Brands has become the first casualty.
