In an interview with Goal, Richarlison has spoke of his excellent rationship with Evertonians and shared his confidence that Everton will soon move up the table.
Richarlison: “I have a very good relationship with the club and the fans. At this moment we are in a difficult phase, we are fighting at the bottom of the table, but I believe in each of my teammates.
“We have a very good team. We were supposed to be fighting at the top, but as there were many injuries, it ended up hurting the squad. But, I’m sure we’ll move up the table.
“My relationship with Everton is that, of love. Two, three coaches passed by who helped me a lot here, Marco Silva, (Carlo) Ancelotti, (Rafa) Benítez and now (Frank) Lampard. I have learned a lot from them.
“Last Saturday, unfortunately, I lost my grandfather, and Everton paid tribute on the big screen. Like it or not, we were thrilled on the field, seeing the photo on the big screen. That’s it. I have a great affection for Everton, as they have for me, and I am very grateful. And I didn’t ask for permission to go to my grandfather’s wake because I need to be here, I need to help my team mates. Like it or not, if my grandfather were alive, he would understand.
“I had called him a week before he passed away. Then that’s it. I was able to help my teammates, and for sure we will fight to climb the table”
