Everton are reportedly interested in signing 18-year-old Club Brugge forward Antonio Nusa this summer.
Indeed, Nusa is the latest forward to be linked with the Blues who are yet to make a permanent addition to their forward line.
The arrival of Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Spanish side Villarreal provides Sean Dyche with a versatile option, but at least one more centre-forward is a must before the window closes.
The teenager who has been compared to Neymar could be an exciting addition at Goodison Park, with the Toffees ‘eagerly looking’ at the Norwegian.
That is according to Dutch news outlet Voetbalkrant, who report that the young forward is unlikely to remain in Belgium for much longer.
Last year, Nusa became the youngest ever men’s player to score on his Champions League debut, finishing with aplomb as Club Brugge beat FC Porto 4-0 last September.
With two goals and two assists in 34 games in all competitions last season, Nusa has bags of potential and could be a signing that would gets fans on their feet at Goodison Park.
Young Antonio Nusa could reinvigorate depleted Everton forward line
Norway have produced some of the most talented players in Europe in recent years, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard arguably the Premier League’s two standout stars last season.
Indeed, Squawka recently claimed that Nusa was amongst the ‘best Champions League teenagers‘, stating: “Antonio Nusa scored on his European bow against Porto on matchday two. The fleet-footed, 17-year-old winger came off the bench to net the fourth in Club Brugge’s 4-0 rout.”
It continued: “Scott Parker could do a lot worse than pinning his hopes on a player who is around the same age as two of his children.”
Everton desperately need a forward and a signing to excite the fanbase, and could do a lot worse that Antonio Nusa.
