Dwight McNeil’s outstanding brace propelled Everton to a 2-1 comeback victory over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.
The Blues faced an early setback when Marc Guehi tapped in from close range following a recycled corner, putting Palace ahead within the first 10 minutes.
Just two minutes into the second half, McNeil leveled the score with a thunderous left-footed strike from 25 yards out.
Seven minutes later, he secured the win by controlling a cross from halftime substitute Jack Harrison and firing home from a tight angle into the Gwladys Street net.
