Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton

Everton secured a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, marking their fourth win in six games since David Moyes returned as manager.

The visitors took the lead in the 42nd minute with a clinical counter-attack. Carlos Alcaraz led the break before setting up Beto, who squeezed his shot past Dean Henderson and a defender. However, Palace responded early in the second half when Jean-Philippe Mateta fired home in the 47th minute after Marc Guehi cleverly flicked the ball into his path.

The decisive moment came in the 80th minute when Ashley Young’s cross deflected off Will Hughes and fell kindly for Alcaraz, who prodded in the winner.
