Belgium paper Het Laatste Nieuws report that Everton have made contact with Napoli over Dries Mertens.
According to his agent Soren Lerby, the Belgium international is expected to leave Napoli this summer, with Liverpool and Inter Milan both recently reported to be keen on the 28-year-old forward, who bagged 10 goals and assisted 11 in all competitions last season.
But it’s Everton who are reported to have made contact with Napoli;
