Jack Rodwell, Phil Neville, Sylvain Distin remain doubtful for Saturday´s game against Bolton at the Reebok.
All three missed Everton´s 2-1 victory over Wolves, and Davod Moyes may also be contending with further injury problems in his squad.
Moyes: “They are getting better and we will see how they are on Saturday.
“We will have a look tomorrow and see where they are. There are one or two others in that category as well.”
“He is someone who we rely on. He´s been acting captain when Phil Neville has been out so he has an added responsibility and I´ve seen good signs from Phil Jagielka.”
