Again though is that Dyche.

When a new manager comes in the fans get a lift, and there is a sense of optimism but above all the players get a fresh start. The players have a new gaffer to impress and the effort levels lift. Will that continue or will the players revert to type?

Ironically the best example is Dyche getting sacked last season by Burnley. Dyche was replaced by Mike Jackson who turned things around, highlighted by Burnley beating us and climbing out of the bottom three. That dead cat bounce didn't last though and they ended up getting relegated.

Is history has taught us anything then they certainly will. Still a rotten core of players here.

Would definitely take 3 points from the next two games, but it's going to be tough to get more than 1 imo. Spurs always do us, even when they don't play well. Kane will have been licking his lips all weekend knowing he scores every time he faces us.

United, they're not that good, and they will be much weakened in terms of personell, but we just don't do going to big teams and winning.

2 points would be ok for me, anything more a bonus. Even if we exit the United fixture a point or two from, safety, I'd still favour is staying up.

Just get 4 points and make the job much easier though.

Some people were predicting zero points from Chelsea Spurs United. Quite a few saying a return of 3 would be very good. A win tonight would be amazing but a draw doesn’t kill us. If we get 5 points from the 3 games then it’s an incredible job from Dyche.

Depends if he’s promised funds in the summer to change things.

Of all the teams in the relegation mix, Leicester are the best equipped to get out of it in terms of personnel.

Keep seeing this but let’s actually examine it shall we. BOTH of their goalkeepers are absolutely horrendous. Wout Faes is one of the worst centre backs I’ve ever seen and the rest of their defence is shocking too. Tielemans scores a screamer once every few months but is currently injured. Maddison has been injured on and off all season. Harvey Barnes is someone who people like to make out is brilliant for some reason but is actually just an ok PL winger. Vardy is now completely finished and Iheanacho and Daka have about 5 goals combined this season.

There is no doubting the job Dyche has done to date and not just the points return but the games are so much better too. But Frank left u in such a sorry position and his sacking should have been sooner imo and that has made Dyche's job that bit more difficult and I think u need to maintain the good form u are in
Thus could be an end of season summary in the newspaper.

A question to you all, As I can't honestly go through another season like this....

We pretty much know what's coming our way in regards to 'off field issues' a possible transfer ban and a Points deduction.

If offered to you now,
- Would you take it this season and get it over and done with and start the championship fresh.
- Wait until the outcome and still possibly be playing championship but with a points deduction next season.
- Possibly staying up with a points deduction next season that is basically going to put us through another season of torture for an outcome that we can't escape..

( Apologies for putting a downer on such a positive thread )
lol lol lol

Utter fantasy options.

Here's what I'd take: stay up this season and get the likely massive fine at the end of it (or nothing at all) and crack on under Dyche next season.

If we stay up this season we stay up.

I agree. Leicester have just drifted into despondency like we did last season. They need to pull the finger out otherwise it's curtains.

At least we look to know the gravity of the situation and done something about it now Dyche is here. It's interesting to see who hey think can come in and get them safe.

8 games in is past the honeymoon period.

What you've seen so far in terms of performance and results wont be deviated from that much.

Burnley beat us under Dyche.

They should be higher in the league table, not much higher.

As you say, when you look at them closely there isn't that much there beyond Maddison.

Main issue for Leicester is all their good players who could realistically pull them out of troubles contracts are up in the next year except for Barnes. Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison sonyuncu and Iheanacho will all be out the door this summer so relegation won't really impact them. If anything it helps them move

Can't see this group of players going 6 games without a defeat but fingers crossed
