2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Thicker skin than a Rhino this fella, he honestly believes we are where we should be or above our current league position.

For everything what football is about, entertaining the fans, winning football matches, giving the fan base hope, he has removed all of this and more and has no shame whatsoever in being proud of a 0-0 against anyone.

Get him out now

Can't help but think there's a Richard Masters/PGMOL partnership driven narrative slowly unfolding here too...

Cunha still swanning about after he elbowed a staff member in the head.

Giving Ipswich a penalty for a dive.

Plenty more dubious decisions to come
No mate, every club gets decisions for and against which are perceived as unjust by the supporters who look on with envy at other club’s decisions.

Those moments you outline above did not influence

- a Dyche Everton that threw away 3 points with 2 minutes plus stoppage time at home to Bournemouth
- a Dyche Everton that threw away a 2 goal lead to Villa
- a Dyche Everton that couldn’t beat a 10 man Brentford at home who had not got one single point on the road
- a Dyche Everton that threw away a golden opportunity of a 4 vs 2 attack against City in its dying moments.

If we do go down, it’s those types of results that are our own undoing not some Machiavellian plot hatched by the PL.

By the way if the PL have a hatchett to bury with anyone it’s Forrest who absolutely publicly ripped them a new one last year but they’re 2nd.

We have survived our bad fixtures with 3 points and a game in hand.

We are still above the bottom 3 and have a better goal difference.

Dyche has been on thin ice for a while but the new owners might not be so kneejerk especially if they plan to use the January Window to boost the squad.

5 wins and we pull safe - let's start v Bournemouth
Do you think we need signings for this?

I constantly debate if the team are good enough and we are prevented from winning by Dyche (+team / circumstances), or if the team are just [Poor language removed] and Dyche is just doing his best.

Not saying it's squarely aimed at us...but the whole "most exciting league in the world" narrative they need to keep up

Adding some new faces gives everyone a boost especially if they are in problem positions like Left Back and Right Wing.

I would love Dyche gone, new man in with 3 key signings but I am realistic. Dyche has to improve or be sacked, no ifs or buts. It's his squad and his team so his coaching is letting us down.
