2024/25 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

Smashing win this past week - and a win that was needed.

9 matches left in league play - two of which are against teams below us in the table, so plenty of uphill fighting left to do - though I am feeling better about our chances at taking points from some of our "betters".

Playing Chelsea 2x in 2 weeks away from home will be an interesting test - how much confidence have we gained, and, how do we play against the top side in the league? What do we learn / improve from one match to the next?

This is when it gets truly fun....

Unfortunately, it was a fair penalty call..

1-1
It was a foul that began outside the area, with the player going down in the area. So really should not be a pen. Once one goes in with Chelsea, its never long before a 2nd comes. As we didnt make it to HT level. I expected defeat as Chelsea are so far above everyone with the money they have, its unreal. but we have showed a lot off fight today so far

Agreed it started outside the area, but it continued into the area, so (unfortunately) a valid penalty call....
