2024/25 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

Why do you defend her so much? She was laughing about it to her fella who owns some clothing brand in the oriel bar. She's also a massive red.
?? What are you even on about you ??. No idea what you are going on about saying why am i defending her. Ive literally put you right on something you said wrong.I know who she supports and she is not the only Everton player that supports Liverpool, we have at least 2, you may have seen ive put in here she was a bad apple in the dressing room and even failed to turn up to training when she knew she was leaving

Ok, let's leave it at that.

She was seen bragging about getting a bumper contract in her home city whilst she got pregnant.

Wow!

I surprised, but not surprised by that if true.

Women's Football is a massive money spinner in the US and if you look underneath the hood of it in the English games a lot of clubs are looking to cultivate it and grow the game here - they see it as a huge money spinner in the future.

Really thing TFG are looking to cultivate and develop the Women's team here as a key priority investment.

I'd argue it's cheaper than buy a new stadium plus we can refurb parts of the ground for mental health facilities and community hub
The Girls actually prefer to play at WHP when its full (Also looks a lot better from people saying no one turns up etc) compared to a empty ish GP. Depending how successful the Girls get in future. The "New" Goodison if they do go that route may still end up looking empty ish for a bit. The Likes of Arsenal who get good crowds at the Emirates have had a good team for years.

I've not been following the legacy project in any detail, but has a planning application even been submitted yet?

There's a lot of potential with keeping Goodison and adapting it. You could bring the capacity down to say 10-15,000 and then redevelop around the site with new housing, community centers etc.

If we improve our Women's Team, it will generate more audience and commercial revenue so keeping Goodison would be a natural step to the next stage of Women's football.

Not sure right away how much the audience would grow. Dont think it will go up as fast as alot think. We will be doing a lot of work in and out in the summer as usual on players, and we should be getting better types of players from now on with money we have

I'm not totally sure if the stadium thing would work but it's good they appear serious about investing in the women's side, there's plenty of growth potential there. For a relatively little (compared to the men's game) you could put together a genuinely top, competitive women's side that could become a point of pride for the whole club.

The question then is how much you could leverage that into regular attendance at a downgraded Goodison?

If Goodison tickets would be free for season ticket holders I can see the attendance grow a lot.

An idea that could help to keep Goodison alive sustainably would be to allow LFC women's team to also play matches there. Could keep costs needed down.

According to the article it would be a short term arrangement until Goodison legacy project has begun. Friedkin group seem to place a lot of value on the Women's team so I wouldn't be suprised if BMD is shared with the men's team.
