That was, your response to my information that John Moores was an Everton supporter.
My mother was a Supervisor at Littlewoods in the 1950's and had regular contact with the Moores brothers. She told me that John was an Everton supporter.

Seems you missed the point. People were gushing what a great job Moyes did. Those were counter-points, in other words having a look at the entire 11 years, not just remembering the good signings he did _over 11 years_. He also signed loads of crap, and had transfer windows where he didn't necessarily make any good signings. You’ve just told people to look at his entire 11 years, and then proceeded to cherry pick 3 transfer windows, conveniently missing out 5 entire years in between two of them, and then picking out a summer window in which we had no money and had to sell our best player![]()

No actual news or anything regarding the Friedkin group then?
You clearly don't like the fact that Moores had any involvement here, at all, which is strange. He was a Manc blow in.
Everton were a business proposition to him, same as Liverpool his 'other team'.

When he arrived he appointed John Carey as manager, who signed Bobby Collins, Roy Vernon, Alex Parker, Jimmy Gabriel and Tommy Ring with money he made available to the club. They were the foundation of one of our best ever teams. Oh, and he was and he was an Evertonian. I know that because he told my mam.
He was a nasty little Manc who hated people and discriminated against them. Even his own family hated him. A proper Tory rat if ever there was one.You clearly don't like the fact that Moores had any involvement here, at all, which is strange.
