Christopher Ward Goodison tribute watch

Well I'm hoping all this hate means I have a decent chance of getting one 😂. It's two of my biggest loves combined. I've already had mates asking if I'm going for one! There are certainly pricier battery watches from TAG etc, and they won't mean as much.

They did 60 for a Dixie Dean watch and it didn't sell for an age. Sure you'll have no problem mate.

The cost of servicing a mechanical watch (particularly a chronograph) can be eye watering. It's relatively straightforward to swap out a decent quality ETA or Miyota quartz movement down the line if it ever packs in.

That's true if you buy a premium make. I serviced an old Omega from the early 60s couple of years ago and it was about 400€. Watch is worth about the same, so it was not about that.

I'm a bit tempted because the style is something I have been looking. I already had a look at CW's Valour line once.

It takes a special watch for me to consider a chrono; not a fan of them. It's one of the most useless complications in watches for the average person in my opinion. It's just about the added complexity in a technical aspect, mainly on a manual movement.

As a watch collector, this is a bad subject. It brings out my cynicism, so I'll spare the forum and CW the drama.
