I have a feeling that football is eating itself so seeing our stadium up and running with potential to extend is a relief.

It will be a game changer and I think we are underestimating how big of an impact it will have.

So I am happy we have adults running the club who have experience in football management
Standing aside, I believe this has been rejected as a possibilty.

It's got all the ingredients for a disaster: not one, but two despised ownership groups, a squad full of aging and average players on huge wages and long contracts, creaking and outdated infrastructure, an enormous debt pile, no recent trophy success (league and champions league, at least), and agitated supporters.

Delicious.

Id also add in that that Radcliffe doesn't have a clue.

We've had two chances to get back to the top table.

When Moshiri took over and started spending money like a drunken sailor and right now.

Be it luck or judgement the stars have aligned for us....new stadium, new owners , high under performing wage earners out of contract and ( to an extent) rehabilitated finances.

This is a wonderful opportunity. We cannot blow it. I fear that we won't get another chance if we do

For me this is 10x the opportunity it was under Moshiri.

As under Moshiri we had the stadium that needed replacing, Kenwright was kept, no actual businessmen were on the board.

Now we have a new ground to generate revenue, appointments made with ppl with experience in the right roles…not put there because they were bills mate. Actual successful businessmen.

Your right get it wrong now…never getting chance like this

Agree but the other part of that equation is ensuring money is spent wisely on playing staff. Utd have spent far more than we will ever be able to spend over a sustained period, but they are one place higher in the league. (Apart from the odd cup wins). Jury will be out for the next year or two on whether TFG have out the right infrastructure and people in their footballing operations.

The more I look at those "concepts", the more I think this will never happen.

It looks alien and will, in my opinion, spark a backlash. Those towers look like minarets. Throw a Bedouin tent over the structure and it looks like something being built in Morocco for the 2030 World Cup.

A club sacking tea ladies and stewards and pleading poverty is not going to pull the wool over the eyes of fans paying attention by claiming it can build Ali Baba's Citadel on the Ship Canal within five years without making a bad side even worse.

These leadership changes, along with our long-awaited move to a new stadium, give us a real chance to start fresh.

With Kinnear’s experience in managing stadium transitions, we can hope for a smooth move that minimises any disruptions and makes the most of our new home.

The introduction of a dedicated sporting leadership team should hopefully bring much-needed strategy to our recruitment and put greater focus on developing young talent.

If things are handled right, this could be the beginning of a more stable and successful future for our club.

But - as I'm sure everyone else is - I'm remaining only very cautiously optimistic.
