Honestly cannot thank you enough.

Two of the good people of GOT that I had the pleasure of meeting up with! ;)

I couldn't get to town as early for this game as the first one, but was still on the soccerbus from Liverpool One bus station for just after 1pm. Set off for BMD almost straight away. We were only just past the Liver Buildings after almost half an hour. Driver couldn't let us off to walk because we were in the middle lane. Eventually, we were able to get off nearer the start of Great Howard St and walked. There were far more cars than for the previous event. The junction near Costco was completely gridlocked. Nothing moving. The surrounding streets had lots of cars milling around looking for car parking options. Eventually got to turnstile at North Stand 16mins after KO, in our seats at 20mins. Lots of others running late too.

It was the opposite afterwards. Got Shuttle bus on Great Howard St after about 10mins wait.... it was very quick on to Liverpool One, where on-going bus was waiting. Looked like the vast majority walked into town. In the future I think I'll get train to the game, but bus back afterwards.

The view from my seat today. All I can say about the ground today is wow. I can’t wait until we have a proper competitive match in this place because my word, the sound doesn’t half travel around and stay in the ground. I’ll be buying Dan Meis a few beers if I ever bump into the fella. Great job he’s done
we were a handful of rows right in front of f you today

We went on the train, no issues from Liverpool to Sandhills at 1200, straight in, straight off. 15 minute walk to the ground.
The stadium looks amazing and huge from outside, the plaza is much bigger than you imagine. Food on the plaza looked expensive (an Indian food stall was selling chicken curry and chips for £13.50). Inside the food was very tasty but way over priced for the portions. Salt n pepper chicken and chips was £12.00 and whilst tasty, was a very mean portion. This little lot cost me £28

When you think you’d get far, far more from the hot wok for £15.. I think they need to be a little more generous.
The stadium is the biggest smallest space you’ll see. It’s literally built for noise. Me and my boy went all the way around the top section trying seats in every part of the ground. All were absolutely amazing. Felt like I was at a World Cup, just didn’t feel real.
Obviously the atmosphere was poor but people were just gawping at the place, and the footy was basically a side show. When folk did cheer or clap in unison you got a sense that it’s going to be extremely loud when full and the games mean something.
Concourses did get busy but really easy to get a drink, a matter of minutes at most.

Getting out of the stadium was a doddle from the South upper but a real bottle neck at the dock wall. The ‘stop go’ system at the weighbridge only added to the congestion.
Not sure when the game finished but guess around 15.25? Me and my 12 year old lad were sat on a train in Moorfields at 16:11 headed back over the Mersey. (Worth noting that as we went through James St it was rammed and folk couldn’t get on our train).
All in all, a fab day and experience. Everything will improve as we collectively learn and work things out.
She’s not Goodison but she is a beauty. Weirdly I was sat in similar spots today and last week at Goodison..
