Interesting character was Hurricane Smith. I suspect you remember him like I do but ‘Oh Babe, what would you say’ was a huge hit on both sides of the pond. I never knew it was so popular in US, so I’m claiming it was a one-hit wonder over there Good little pop song.

Also never knew he was an ‘Engineer’ on lots of Beatles records.

…funny, I clicked on your post and soon remembered it. Definitely a Lennon or even a George Harrison vibe which isn’t surprising given how closely he worked with them over the years. Strangely enough, I read Smith’s wife actually wrote both those songs, talented lady.
