…and hopefully that will be the case now Moyes is running transfers but until then Doucoure plays because he makes us more difficult to beat. Maybe Moyes isn’t convinced enough to trigger the Alcaraz deal. Just hope Ndiaye doesn’t have that scaffolding on his knee.

Quite happy with a bit of team selection fume ahead of a game.
Good points. That said, when I do moan about Doucoure, he ends up slotting the first goal so here’s hoping.

We do need to transition to a team that is built around quality as we keep getting skilful players like Illy and Alcaraz plus other players who struggle alongside clobbers like Harrison and Keane and we shift them on. The whole squad needs a lift up in quality so it’s through the line and has a proper football philosophy which we are years off.

We can’t live off backs to the wall “hard to beat” tactics forever and there’s no excuse going forwards with all the hype about new stadium and new owners

….pretty much agree with that.

No wonder we can`t have any sort of ball retention at the top end of the pitch with Doucoure, Harrison and Beto starting every week. Even going forward they are very very poor.

With what is available now I would be going with Broja, Alcaraz and NDaitye in behind Chermiti.... I don`t think we will go down so what would be the harm?
